Submissions
Slumgullion seeks submissions for special and ongoing projects.
Special Projects TRAVEL ZINE, FALL 2008 Have you traveled, and now feel an unquenchable desire to tell your stories? (But maybe your family and friends are ready to throttle you, leaving you in dire need of a new audience?)
A travel zine is in the works, Missoula, eagerly awaiting your contributions. Think of it, if you wish, as an opportunity to synthesize your experience and understand more deeply how you have been changed by your adventures. This does not mean your short story (4 pages max), poems, photographs, and artwork must have a "point" persay. We are simply interested in what you have to convey about your most serendipitous, delightful, terrifying or sheerly bizarre experiences and encounters.
Submission deadline is September 1, 2008. Please email your submissions (including scans of photography and art) as Word-readable attachments to travel.zine@hotmail.com. Also include your name and the featured destination(s) of your creative work. Included travelers will recieve a copy of the zine. The travel zine will be distributed to local bookstores and the Slumgullion library.
.
Ongoing Projects Slumgullion Magazine: poetry, prose, drawings, literary criticism...anything goes for this sporadically-produced surge of creativity.
